You are here ----> Home :: Robert Clergerie

In the southeast of France, in a small town of Romans, there is an attic room with a treasure of shoes. The personal archive of Robert Clergerie sits there including designs that have changed the basic lexicon of his business. Robert Clergerie shoes come in every shape and size imaginable! In 1981, Robert Clergerie started designing his own line. He set it off with the lace-up oxford, a man's shoe made for a woman. He then did his parallelogram heel in 1984, which was so widely imitated that it was known as the "Clergerie heel." Robert Clergerie focuses on uniqueness and comfort when designing. He continues to design architectural shaped heels in that look great and are easy to walk in! Robert Clergerie's oxford is famous and the accessory equivalent of the little black dress.
