The very small wedge is made with EVA rubber and has a wave throughout the bottom which gives the shoe more stability and shock absorption. The casual look of the Tao makes it perfect for daytime wear. The entire upper is made of a black stretch fabric that allows the foot to stretch while walking. A thin black strip and just above the wedge adds a pop of texture to the top and sides of the shoe.
