Geox has perforated the rubber outsole, around the area of the foot with the highest concentration of sweat glands. A special micro-porous membrane was placed on top of the perforated rubber sole. The membrane micro-pores are smaller than water molecules but larger than vapor molecules. This allows the vapor produced by the feet to escape, while water is kept out and feet stay dry and at the right temperature.
